Application
  • Superior chemical and environmental stress crack resistance.
  • IPS sizes 1/2" to 2" for use at temperatures up to and including 90oC.
  • Pressure rating varies to sizes of pipe at various temperatures as per table given below
  • .Highly resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants, and halogens.
  • Ideally suited for potable water plumbing applications.

Scope
Outlined specification ASTM 2447 (Dimensions only). This pipe is intended for use in applications where the fluid conveyed does not exceed 90oC.

PE Materials
The material used in the manufacture of the pipe shall be domestically produced as well as imported form reputed manufacturer’s High Density Polyethylene with cross link agent (catalyst) and UV Stabilizer.

Dimensions
PEX Pipes shall be manufactured in strict accordance to the requirements of ASTM D 2447 (Dimensions only) for physical dimensions and tolerances. Fitment (Threaded) as per BSPT Standard. Each production run of pipe manufactured in compliance to this standard, shall also meet or exceed the test requirements for materials, workmanship, hydrostatic pressure, density, temperature test, tensile strength etc.
